Frequently Asked Questions
What is Princess Camp?
Princess Camp is a private experience for the host and their child's friends. Princess & Me Parties began in 2014 providing character entertainment for birthday parties. Everything we do is mobile, so that means our camp is too. We found so many children loved the time they got to spend with our characters and wanted to see them more often. A mother asked, "what do you have for my kid to do during the summer" and the camp idea was born.

What do we do each day at camp?
Each day 2 counselors the campers through a variety of games & crafts themed to the princess of the day. Every day is a different princess. Children bring their own lunch for a lunch break, then the princess guest arrives to sing, read a story, dance and play games.
When is Pick Up / Drop Off?
While we understand everyone's schedules can vary, we kindly request that you drop off your camper no earlier than the start time of camp and pick them up no later than the end time of camp. For safety, we have parents fill out a registration form for their camper. Only the names listed on the registration form in the "approved for pick up" section are permitted to pick up a camper. ID must be presented upon pick up. If a parent wishes add someone else to the approved pick up list, the request must be emailed to Ali@PrincessAndMeParties.com at least 4 hours before the requested time.
Can parents stay and watch?
We kindly ask that you drop off as quickly as possible. We've been doing this for many years and find that the quick release method works the best. If you'd like to stay somewhere on property and watch via baby cam, please don't tell your child. We find this leads to children separating from the group and acting up. We encourage you to take this as an opportunity for time for you. Worried you'll miss something? Don't worry. We do take photos throughout the day and of each child posed with the character so you can relive the day and see all the fun we've had.
Do parents need to provide anything?
Yes! Water, snacks, lunch, and a change of clothes. Cubbies are provided for the campers. Please label every item with your child's full name. On your registration form will be an area for allergies. We alert the entire group of allergies so that other parents know what food items to not pack.

Do you require a deposit?
Yes, we require a $100 deposit by 6 weeks before camp start. The balance is due by 3 weeks before camp start.

What forms of payment do you accept?
We use Square which accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.

What is your cancellation policy?
The final day for cancellation with refund is 3 weeks from camp start (this is also when balances are due). Once camp starts, your payment is non-refundable. We do not do partial payments or prorated rates for part days. The only exception to this is if a camp is cancelled due to acts of God or failure to meet the registration minimum. Then the payment will be refunded in full. This can take up to 4 days for Square and PayPal to process.
Does my child have to be potty trained?
Yes, your child must be potty trained to attend camp. So sorry but we are not licensed for diaper changing. Thank you for understanding. We'll see your child next year.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes we are licensed and insured for entertainment. Documents can be provided upon request.

What is your counselor to child ratio?
We have 2 counselors for each camp. There is registration minimum of 6 campers and maximum of 16 (although we prefer to keep it to 14 or fewer, it just depends on the group).
